I'm half Vietnamese and half Sicilian. I was born in South America then I went to France
when I reached the age of 14.
Since the very beginning I was passionate about Arts:
first with drawing, then watercolor, then oil painting, and finally photography in my early 20's.
So I followed my passion I attended Fine Art School in France to study traditional Arts
and Graphic Design;
then I went to Belgium to complete my studies in Digital Art School
where I could translate what I learned to the Digital world.
It was then in Brussels
when Photography took a definitive turn when I got to work with worldwide renown photographers;
(Bruno Dayan, Peter de Mulder, Peter Lindbergh...) learning commercial photography as assistant
and retoucher with the bests and finally making a career as a freelancer photographer in fashion
and beauty in Paris.
At a personal level, my photography emerges from an creative process where pressing the button
is not everything: Ideas are first born from pencil and paper, composed through the lens,
refined with lightings then finally to the digital lab where images comes to life.
I started out in 2009 as Art Director for Connexus Corporation, making illustrations
and crazy graphics for online contents. Then in 2010 I moved to the advertising world
as Art Director for Ogilvy & Mather, with campaigns such as Dove, Vietnam Airlines,
and Sony etc.
In 2011, I decided it was time to move back to Fashion and Photography:
so I started to shoot fashion and Beauty spreads for Elle VN, then I was proposed to join in
as Photo Editor, and quickly moved to the position of the magazine's Art Director.
As a matter of fact, my life has always been made of explorations and challenges of all kind;
but at the end it all gravitates around what I'm passionate about: which is creating images.
